Motion Graphics Artist

Picturelab is seeking a Motion Graphics Artist. This is a full-time position located in Mountain View, CA. We are only considering local applicants at this time.

Position Description:

A Motion Graphics Artist is a team player who is passionate about great design and animation. He or she works closely with the creative director and other team members to execute a creative approach to animation and visual effects projects. He or she displays strong artistic aptitude with an exceptional sense of design and a clear interest in motion graphics and related technology. He or she delivers quality results under high pressure deadlines, and attention to detail combined with a strong working knowledge of design-related applications is essential.


Responsibilities:

Designing and producing animation that meets or exceeds strategic objectives

Designing mood boards, storyboards, animation concepts, and motion for audio and tempo, including music and voiceover
Providing quality assurance on creative deliverables
Building and maintaining rapport with team personnel and project managers

Requirements:

A minimum of 2 years education or 3 years motion design work experience

Ability to articulate creative ideas

Aptitude for quick creative thinking and attention to detail

Passion for design and eagerness to collaborate
Advance knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Cinema 4d
Moderate knowledge of FCP and Mac OS

Must be self-motivated, able to multi-task and work well with others and as part of a team.
